Being the 2nd largest manufacturer of heating & cooling products in the United States, makes it possible to offer these warranties. The products are the very best with most products carrying a lifetime warranty on the heat exchangers and compressors (that includes 80% furnaces, no other manufacturer does this) and the AMANA brand will not give you a new heat exchanger or compressor like all the other manufacturers, they insist that you get a new furnace, air conditioner, or Heat Pump at no cost to you (and they also provide the labor to install it for the first 10 years) Now, that's a warranty. • If you are looking for information on a new or existing boiler or radiant heating system, then these articles will certainly be of interest to you. Richard Tretheway published a great article telling about the history and proper design of hydronic systems titled "From fireplaces to thermostats in 70 years". It's an excellent place to begin. The Hydronics Industry Alliance has a very informative brochure (especially page 2) titled: "Consumer Guide to Hydronic Home Heating". It gives you an idea of all the wonderful things that we, at Aire-Com, can do for your hydronic system. Its one of the best brochures that we have ever seen. A great streaming video of hot water heat compared to forced air heating can be seen for those of you either building or remodeling your home or business. There was a scientific health study done in Japan that compared forced air heating to radiant hydronic heat in some elderly persons and its very informative, although a bit more technical than you may like.
